Your purpose

Your role as Policy Enforcement Specialist will focus on the development of policy protocols suitable for enforcement purposes and collaborate with cross functional teams to implement a holistic safety strategy.

Your community

You will be a member of the Policy Enforcement team, a part of Trust & Safety Operations, working closely with your lead, Policy Lead.

Your focus

Your contribution will include:

  • Help craft and implement policies for all communities

  • Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to internal stakeholders

  • Identify and analyse policy risks, trends, developments from enforcement efforts and share learnings with all teams involved in the policy mission as you aid them in strategic planning, analysing and responding to related legislative and regulatory initiatives, the development and implementation of safety related policy programs

Your journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

  • 2+ years work experience in policy, enforcement, public policy work or advocacy related to safety and ideally at the intersection of technology, social media, and safety

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in policy, law, marketing, business, communications or a relevant subject or discipline required

  • Experience in technology policy issues, as well as an understanding of applicable regulatory and self-regulatory regimes

  • Strong communication, analytic, organizational, and writing skills, proactive work ethic, and strong interpersonal skills needed
