Your Purpose

You will take on a leading role in the M.A.G.I.C. Team assist in all areas of Sports activities related, predominantly within the football domain, including Content, Brand and Commercial Partnerships. You will take responsibilities, including but not limited to industry research, prospecting and closing new business and potential partners, and fulfilling partnerships.

Your Focus

Your contribution will include:

  • Domain expert in Sports/Football industry in Asia – knowledgeable of the Sports Media landscape, relationships with Sports federations, sport marketing agencies and Athletes in Asia.
  • Able to bring all elements of the Sports/Football ecosystem together – generating not just revenue but also mutually-rewarding partnerships for both community/grassroots and delivering on Brand needs.
  • Develop and cultivate strong business partnerships with brand/IP owners, owning C-Level account relationships while defining and driving achievement of key partnership OKR’s.
  • Identify creative and dynamic opportunities to cross-sell and drive growth for Brand Affiliations
  • Lead tactical roadmap and prospecting of potential partners across SPORTS verticals
  • In partnership with M.A.G.I.C. Director, set GTM approach for partner acquisition across brands, publishers, creators and IP owners across the SPORTS genres
  • Collaborate internally with cross-functional stakeholders including Members, Community and Proposition, to deliver best-in-class execution of all projects and campaigns
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail on a variety of projects simultaneously throughout the creative and execution process.
  • Generate business and consumer insights to improve partner results.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with partners; drafting, reviewing, executing contracts.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members, enabling them to effectively develop the required account management skills.
  • Bring curiosity, grit, creativity, empathy, and passion every day to the team and this role.

Job requirements

Your Journey

  • Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:
    5+ years of work experience in management consulting or client-facing role within media or technology companies. Start- up experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the aptitude to craft compelling sales narrative.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at the C-suite level
  • Possess intuitive understanding of data and is able to derive insights from multiple data sources, turning them into short- term and long- term plans.
  • Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint
  • High- energy, team- first attitude: motivated to work hard in a fast- paced, ever- changing environment to help our growing business and service.


Your Knowledge
Given your epic background, you will have a deep passion for sports, particular affinity in the football domain and technical knowledge in commercialising and monetising social media platforms. As we are a global team to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must.
