Your Purpose

As a Growth SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for scaling up Aaqua’s traffic and members via organic channels such as SEO, social media and potentially PR. You will be responsible for growing high quality traffic across the different Aaqua fandoms and will have the flexibility to prioritise which channels to double down on to achieve this goal.

Your Focus

• Responsibility for crafting the organic tactics to scale up traffic volume and member acquisition, with a firm focus on Fans- to- Passion activation and acquisition, by systematically designing and executing on organic marketing channels.
• Build up the SEO playbook and implement a watertight system to churn out high quality content and build up backlinks. Ensure technical SEO best practices are adhered to.
• Trend research and amplifying content on forums such as Reddit, Quora, as well as trend websites such as Digg and Buzzsumo.
• Work with the CRO team to ship out highly relevant landing pages that cover all levels of intent for the Aaqua fandoms.
• Work with the Brains team to identify opportunities to improve metrics at the top of funnel.
• Scope out the efficacy of social media and PR channels; build up a team of virtual assistants to assist with day-to-day operations.
• Cross functional work with the Performance Specialist to determine opportunities to amplify content via paid channels.

Job requirements

Your Journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

• You have 3 – 5 years experience in the Growth Marketing focusing on SEO.
• Have developed a deep understanding of the social space and have hands- on experience of building SEO campaigns (web and blog)
• Track, report, and monitor our organic and keyword strategies
• You will regularly communicate results to the management team.
• Provide feedback to in-house content specialists.
• Ensure written content meets SEO best practices. Suggest improvements to landing page drafts and blog posts. Perform keyword research for various stakeholders.
• You can effectively straddle the Macro and Micro – build long term plan and have short term execution focus
• Master collaborator and influencer and are comfortable working with cross functionally
• You lead with expertise and logic to get teams to align v/s authority.

Your Knowledge

Given your epic background you will have strong skills and hands- on experience in the SEO industry and a passion affinity related to one of our Passion Genres. You have an excellent command of copywriting SEO. As we are a global team to truly connect and collaborate, business English skills are a must.
