Your Community 

You will be a member of the Safety & Integrity team, working closely with your lead the Head of Law Enforcement and Government Response.

Your Purpose


Your role as Law Enforcement Response Specialist will focus on protecting Aaqua members by handling sensitive content and investigating reports around safety and integrity issues



Your Focus

Your contribution will include:

  • Manage inbound and outbound law enforcement cases, civil/criminal subpoenas and other governmental or legal investigations and takedowns are evaluated in strict accordance with Aaqua’s policies and guidelines along with applicable laws
  • Demonstrating operational excellence by evaluating risk, threats and user privacy in a time-sensitive emergency escalations
  • Handle sensitive online content to investigation credible threat and user harm
  • Involve in on-call emergency escalation which sometimes may happen outside regular business hours
  • Make instant call to action by analysing factors such as level of danger and sensitivities to ensure the safety of Aaqua users and partners
  • Collaborate with the larger Safety & Integrity team to improve policy, procedures and identifying upcoming threats for our online community
  • Keeping abreast on domain knowledge which include law enforcement due diligence processes and laws

Job requirements

Your knowledge:

Given your epic background, you will have deep skills/ technical knowledge in online safety and law enforcement.

As we are a global team to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must.


Your Journey 

  • You should have excellent track record in trust & safety operations, law enforcement, crisis management with experience in social media or internet industry
  • Proven ability to make important decisions by assessing threat and risk independently with ability to perform in a highly fast-paced online environment, while respecting legal and privacy parameters
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills as you will be required to work alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentally and emotionally resilient to offensive, disturbing, or illegal behaviour, language, and contentfast-paced online environment, while respecting legal and privacy parameters
