Your Purpose

Your role as Head of Partners for Australia/New Zealand will focus on developing and leading Aaqua’s Partner program, by defining our proposition across Icons, Creators, Delivery production partners and Brand Partners. By driving Partner business development and program management to create a vibrant and scalable Partner ecosystem.

Your Focus

Your contribution will include building out and leading a rapidly growing team, as well as providing functional leadership to regional Partners over time.

• Lead Aaqua’s Icon/Creators, Studio Production Partners and Brand Partners team across Australia/NZ.
• Recruit, form and coach a high-performing team of talented Partner professionals (business development, program management, community support).
• Develop Icon & Creator expertise and affinity, including broad & deep understanding of icon and creator needs, motivations and behaviors, across passion categories and genres.
• Develop and champion consumer-to-brand expertise and affinity: understand brand-to-consumer and consumer-to-brand community dynamics, brand-fan and brand-fandom engagement forms, and community best practices.
• Define Aaqua’s Partner Program, with tiered gives-gets based on level and monetisation options, including Community leader support and engagement programs.
• Develop and deliver growth and activation plans, aligned to overall agreed priorities – passion categories, target fan segments and audiences.
• Work with the Delivery Team to develop passion specific Icon, Creator and Brand engagement and activation campaigns, and amplify the Epics (Events) and Originals (Content) created or curated by global, local and vertical Delivery Teams.

Job requirements

Your Journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

• Planning and execution of start-up initiatives and new market initiatives.
• Business development, commercial partnerships and strategic partnerships.
• Senior Leadership experience, and working in the social media industry desirable.
• Experience with growing and leading high-performing teams, and comfortable with stretch targets
• Strong network across Australia and New Zealand in media, advertising, content creators and brands, relevant to the various M.A.G.I.C. pillars.
• Managing budgets and P&L, well versed in creating effective OKR frameworks.

Your Knowledge

Given your epic background, you will have technical knowledge in commercialising and monetising social media platforms.

Ideally, you will have rounded this knowledge out with a tertiary education in Business.

As we are a global team to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must.
