Your Purpose

As part of the M.A.G.I.C. APAC team, you will head up all aspects of Esports and gaming activity in the region including content, brand & commercial partnerships and events.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to tactical roadmap, new business development, partner & creator management and innovative content creation within the Esports and gaming passion domains.

Your Focus
Your contribution will include:

  • Assist in the annual revenue targets as determined by the Leadership team and aligned to OKRs.
  • The provision of industry expertise with a strong network of key stakeholders within Esports and gaming.
  • In partnership with the Director of G.ames, set an insights-driven GTM approach for member acquisition and engagement and for the acquisition of publishers, brands, creators and IP owners within Esports and gaming.
  • Deliver the Aaqua roadmap for Esports and gaming in APAC through the development and delivery of growth and activation planning.
  • Lead on the development and negotiation of new business.
  • Identify, manage and grow relationships with partners and creators.
  • Manage the delivery of online and offline events.
  • Oversee agency and supplier services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices for brands and creators in Esports and gaming.
  • Showcasing strong collaborative efforts with other Aaqua teams to achieve company goals.

Job requirements

Your Journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

  • 8+ years of successful Esports and gaming sales and partnership experience, with a proven track record of strong leadership experience. You will have developed a distinct blend of creative instincts, social media marketing aptitude and executive management skills.
  • Strong passion for Esports and video/mobile games and domain expertise within APAC.
  • You have a positive mindset and a true can- do attitude and are highly detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and continuously demonstrating the ability to think BIG and implement innovative ideas in ways that create significant social sharing and PR attention.
  • Self-starter, highly collaborative with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous and high-performing environment.

Your Knowledge
Given your epic background, you will have deep knowledge of and passion for Esports and gaming, with strong relationships with key industry stakeholders. You will be firmly across industry trends with insight and understanding of potential future global developments within Esports and gaming. As we are a global team to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must.
