Your Purpose

Your role as a Community Manager will be to manage Games-related communities, particularly in football, with an initial focus on Aaqua’s owned football communities. You will also drive and inspire new communities through a member- first narrative that builds a rapport with fanatics, fans and followers. You will embody Aaqua’s values through engaging content and by facilitating discussion in a safe and inclusive environment.


Your Focus

Your contribution will include:

  • You’ll be at the forefront of driving conversations and inspiring creators, icons, brands and fans. You’ll be a voice for the Games communities within Aaqua and will help drive initiatives, particularly within football.
  • Conceptualising and executing unforgettable and engaging content within the Aaqua to attract and engage Members.
  • Developing and Maintaining a content calendar and ensuring a constant pipeline of scheduled content, experimenting with various content directions/ formats to ensure maximum impact.
  • Driving and taking part in daily conversations between Members.
  • Being the go-to person and serving as the main point of contact within Games communities to promptly answer any queries our Members might have.
  • Conceptualise original content ideas to spark conversations in Games communities.
  • Support partners through guidance and fundamentals to grow their community base and be the key point of contact for their community activation.
  • Monitoring and analysing the performance of all content that is posted within Games communities and suggesting improvements backed by data and insight.
  • Working closely with our Partners team to identify and grow social brand partnerships/influencer collaborations on Aaqua.

Job requirements

Your Journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

  • A minimum 3 years experience, with a proven track record in managing large digital communities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong sense of curiosity and passion for learning
  • Passionate about sport, especially the ‘Beautiful Game’, an innate knowledge of ‘Football-speak’ and up to date with how fanatics, fans and followers interact with sport on social media.
  • An expert in content marketing with an eye for engaging content to inspire conversations and engagement.
  • Strong project management/organisational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments in different time zones
  • Analytically inclined, with rigorous attention to detail, always improving processes for both members and partners alike
  • Exhibiting strong stakeholder’ management, and a results-oriented team player


Your Knowledge
Given your epic background, you will have deep skills/ technical knowledge with social media, customer relations or analytics tools, such as MailChimp, Meltwater, HubSpot, SocialBakers, CleverTap and the likes. You will have a keen interest in sport, particularly football.

As we are global organisation, business English language skills are a must.
