Your Purpose
Your role as Entertainment Lead will focus on developing and leading Aaqua’s partners acquisition across the entertainment genre, this will include utilizing your knowledge of IP, licensing and content to identify key tactical partnerships, research to support them and GTM roadmaps.

Your Focus

Your contribution will include:

  • Be a Domain expert in the Entertainment Industry in APAC including publishers, entertainment brands, OTT platforms and talent.
  • Use your knowledge of IP, licensing and content to identify key tactical partnerships and GTM strategies.
  • Build Entertainment vertical content roadmaps and lead the Entertainment team.
  • Develop and cultivate strong business partnerships with brand/ IP owners, owning C-Level account relationships.
  • Create, negotiate, test and activate innovative creative business & partnership models.
  • Use business and consumer insights to make recommendations and improve partners results.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with partners, including drafting, reviewing and executing contracts.
  • Collaborate internally with cross-functional stakeholders including Members, Community and Proposition, to deliver best-in-class execution of all projects and campaign.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Bring curiosity, grit, creativity, empathy, and passion every day to the team and this role.

Job requirements

Your Journey

Ideally your career journey to date will have given you experience in or exposure to the following:

  • 5+ years of work experience in business development and/or strategy or related work for Media, consulting or technology companies. Start- up experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC media and content landscape ecosystem and video content platforms.
  • Tactical thinker with strong analytical skills who can dissect complex issues and make recommendations and actions plans to an Executive level.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • High- energy, team- first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing start up environment.
  • Experience working with tech or social media valued.


Your Knowledge
Given your epic background, you will have a deep passion for the Entertainment Industry. and technical knowledge in commercialising and monetising social media platforms.
