Your Community

You will be a member of the Lifecycle & Community team, working closely with the Senior Lifecycle & Community Lead.

Your Purpose

As our Annotation Analyst, you’ll be key in improving our Aaqua experience for our Bahasa Indonesia speaking members through language and communications localisation within our distinct ecosystem and feature testing.

Your Focus

Your contribution will include:

Primary Role - Lead People

  • Your role as a Bahasa Annotation Analyst will be a cross-functional hybrid function between Members and product teams, to ensure Aaqua language and communication services facing our Bahasa speaking members are translated seamlessly, in a ~human way. 
  • With content formats such as highlight recommendations, unique campaign announcements and private ~human chat messaging, Bahasa will play a crucial role in our desired app language spectrum. 
  • As part of the Annotation Team, your central role will improve the end-to-end member experience through localised, behavioural and trend knowledge. 
  • Working in a fast paced, dynamic, technology-focused environment, you’ll read and translate communications and behaviours, as well as listen and transcribe audio files and evaluate Bahasa response and language usage, from members who have downloaded the Aaqua app. 
  • You'll use your language and cultural knowledge, along with analytical skills, to evaluate responses against our community guidelines. 
  • Your flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks is essential. With a key focus on our Bahasa member experience, you need to think creatively on how members will respond positively to communications engagement and evolve your knowledge for ongoing improvements.

Secondary Role - Lead Teams

  • Engage, test, track and learn from engagement activity, campaigns and conversations with Bahasa members to ensure ongoing campaigns measure member outreach initiatives. Work with Growth & Engagement, Member Experience, Partner & Product teams to create seamless solution-centered language and content frameworks that enhance our Bahasa member’s overall Aaqua experience.
  • Ensure the global team is aligned with support feedback and localised learnings documentations.
  • Help build out our annotation teams across APAC as we learn and grow

Job requirements

Your Journey

  • Native in Bahasa Indonesia reading, writing, and comprehension skills as you will be required to understand verbal nuances in Bahasa itself.  
  • Fluency in English reading, writing and comprehension skills.
  • Digital native, who is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the APAC region and cultural variations where the Bahasa language is spoken.
  • Ability to independently navigate digital systems and tools.
  • Experience in content review or a similar environment, prior testing experience preferred.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work-flows and responsibilities, as well as member privacy.
  • Grows with a team where expertise is shared and feedback across the group is welcomed.
  • Excels at working independently to make timely decisions and take appropriate actions.
  • Experience as an end user of audio tools, or similar Intelligent Personal Assistants, or other AI.
  • Successfully meets or exceeds targets, working within tight deadlines
  • Ability to identify business process solutions that increase efficiencies
  • Ability to maintain focus and aim for high results through large volumes of tasks.

You’ll be Aaqua’s human touch to Bahasa speaking members, helping and enhancing their experience daily. As we are a global team, to truly connect and collaborate, your business English skills are a must.

Your Travels

Travel is not a frequent requirement for this role, so you will have more time with friends and family, however when normal travel resumes some infrequent travel to Indonesia may be required.
